WHAT IS A COLLECTIVE?
A collective is an equipping hub that supports the efforts of our missionaries and simple churches. Missionaries and simple churches will be connected through corporate worship gatherings, common elder oversight, and a team of coaches. The larger expression of church exists to serve the smaller by providing resources necessary to send missionaries and support simple churches to bring gospel renewal to our communities.
SIMPLE CHURCH
We affirm simple church as the most basic expression of the church and therefore, our ecclesiology is simple. When believers work together in sincere worship, and genuine community to accomplish a part of the mission of God, they are the church. Worship, community and mission are the minimum. Simple churches will exist in a variety of contexts such as homes, businesses, prisons, nursing homes, and other spaces where believers gather for community, worship, and mission.
EVERYDAY MISSIONARY
A missionary is an everyday disciple of Jesus who identifies and lives as a sent one of God. These individuals are disciples who make disciples among those to whom God has called them to reach with the gospel. Because we desire to reach those who won’t and can’t come to church, it’s imperative that we go to them, plant the gospel, make disciples, and see a simple church birthed in the context of those we are trying to reach.
GOSPEL RENEWAL
Gospel renewal is the power of God to save the lost, mend our broken world, and cultivate human flourishing under the victory of king Jesus. We want to join God in what he is doing to offer people new life in Christ and a glimpse of what’s to come when Jesus brings his kingdom in its fullness.
WHO WE ARE
We unapologetically focus the majority of our resources on our missional leaders.
We move toward the margins and plant missionaries among the unseen, forgotten, and vulnerable.
A "go to them" approach to reach people with the good news of Jesus.
Our staff will be a coaching and equipping team, focused on training and supporting you.
